There are no user accounts, no passwords to memorize, no credit cards required, and no artificial daily limits. Every tool is accessible instantly the second you land on the page.

Traditional online file tools upload your documents to a remote cloud server, queue them on a foreign machine, and send back a download link. This model exposes your private documents to third parties, incurs unnecessary network delay, and consumes bandwidth.

ShortTrick works differently: nearly every tool decodes, modifies, and re-encodes files entirely inside your web browser using HTML5, WebAssembly, and local Canvas APIs.

Certain digital tasks genuinely cannot be performed reliably in a browser without proprietary server farms (such as running 70-billion-parameter language models or executing native Microsoft Word layout reflow).

Rather than returning a crude, corrupted approximation or a fake loading bar, ShortTrick tools state plainly what cannot be done, explain the technical reasons, and offer the closest valid browser-capable solution. A plausible-looking wrong answer is dangerous because you cannot easily tell that it is wrong.
