Video Cropper

Video Cropper cuts a rectangle out of every frame — trimming off letterbox bars, a watermark at the edge, or whatever sits in the corner of a screen recording.

You either name a box by width, height and offset, or pick one of 1:1, 4:5, 9:16, 16:9 and 4:3, in which case the largest rectangle of that shape is taken from the centre of the frame. Every number is rounded to an even value because H.264 at yuv420p requires it, and a box that would reach past the edge is rejected with the real frame size quoted back rather than being silently clamped to fit. Cropping only ever removes pixels: reframing a 16:9 clip as 9:16 keeps a tall slice of the middle and discards both sides, so anything near the edges is gone for good.

The frames are read, cropped and re-encoded on your own machine, and no copy of the uncropped original is left sitting anywhere.
