Vocal Remover (Karaoke Maker)

Vocal Remover subtracts one stereo channel from the other, which silences whatever sits dead centre in a mix — usually, though not always, the lead vocal.

The entire method is a single pan filter: the right channel is taken away from the left and the left from the right, so anything identical in both cancels to silence. No model and no stem separation is involved, which has two consequences worth knowing before you start. Kick, snare and bass are normally centred too and go with the vocal, and a vocal that was panned off centre or soaked in stereo reverb survives the treatment largely intact. A mono file is refused outright, because there is no second channel to subtract from the first. The optional second download is the centre-channel mix, which leans towards the vocal but still carries every centred instrument; it is not an isolated a cappella.

The cancellation is arithmetic performed on samples in your own browser. A commercial track or an unreleased master is not uploaded anywhere in order to be processed.
