Invoice Generator

Invoice Generator turns a list of line items into a numbered PDF invoice addressed from your business to a client, and writes a JSON file of the same figures beside it.

Items go in one per line as "Description | quantity | unit price" or as a JSON array, and each row becomes quantity × unit price. The order of the arithmetic is fixed: line amounts are summed, a discount percentage comes off that subtotal, the tax rate applies to what remains, shipping is added, and anything already paid is subtracted to leave a balance. The rate and its label are typed by you and nothing is looked up for any country, so the total is only as correct as the rate you enter — this is arithmetic on your own numbers, not tax or accounting advice, and it does not check the invoice against any jurisdiction's invoicing rules. The document is drawn with pdf-lib in its built-in Helvetica, so amounts print as a three-letter code such as INR 1,200.00 instead of a currency symbol, the header is text with no logo or signature image, and the currency list is the eight it supports: INR, USD, EUR, GBP, AED, AUD, CAD and SGD.

Both files are built in the browser. Client names, addresses, rates and bank details stay on the device — nothing is posted to this site, and no copy of the invoice is kept anywhere you would have to delete later.

Billing a freelance project with hourly lines, invoicing a one-off sale, re-issuing an invoice with a corrected rate, and keeping the JSON beside each PDF so a year of billing can be read back as data.
